What to Watch on Friday: More ‘Kimmy Schmidt’ from Netflix

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) – The much anticipated second season of the delightfully silly Tina Fey and Robert Carlock-created series drops today. It stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. It’ll be so nice to see Titus Andromedon again. Also from Netflix today, Season 3 of “Cuckoo” and the new series “Kong: King of the Apes.”

The Vampire Diaries (8 p.m., CW) – Determined to capture an escaped vampire named Ambrose, who may be the key to getting Stefan (Paul Wesley) back safely, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) heads to Memphis with Alaric (Matt Davis) in tow. However, reluctant to step back into his former vampire hunting ways, Alaric makes his unwillingness to participate clear, while revealing the truth about the past three Damon-less years of his life.

Hawaii Five-0 (9 p.m., CBS) – The team investigates the theft of high-tech indestructible suits made for the military.

Shark Tank (9 p.m., ABC) – A man who has a new way to check a pet’s health with a phone pitches his idea to the sharks.

Motive (10 p.m., USA) – Vega’s need to pass the weapons recertification test hampers the investigation of two seemingly unrelated murders.

Wynonna Earp (10 p.m., Syfy) – Wynonna realizes a Revenant killing spree has a more sinister purpose.
