What to Watch on Monday: ‘Houdini & Doyle’ debuts on Fox

Houdini & Doyle (9 p.m., Fox) – A new British-Canadian-American drama based on the friendship of Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In the opener, a witness to a nun’s murder claims the killer was a woman who was tormented by the victim, but Houdini and Doyle uncover a different reality.

Claude Lanzmann: Specters of the Shoah (9 p.m., HBO) – The French filmmaker, best known for the Holocaust documentary film “Shoah,” discusses the process of directing, writing and producing.

NCIS: Los Angeles (10 p.m., CBS) – In the season finale, Sam gets a distress code from his son saying his school is being taken over by an extremist group, so the team rushes to San Francisco to free the hostages.

My Nazi Legacy (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – In this Independent Lens documentary, two men explore the characters of their fathers, who were responsible for thousands of deaths during World War II.
