N.C. Beat (8 p.m., NC Channel) – A new weekly series exploring North Carolina’s diverse music scene. Tonight we get a look at Urban Soil, an Americana jam band from Raleigh. Upcoming episodes include Campfires & Constellations (Chapel Hill, outlaw country), The Mid-Atlantic (Wilmington, Americana/folk/new grass), Shirlette Ammons (Durham, hip-hop), Pink Drinks (Durham, punk) and others. Angel From Hell (8 p.m., CBS) – It’s burn-off time for this canceled Jane Lynch sitcom, which debuted in the winter. It aired only 5 of its 13 episodes, so we get numbers 6 and 7 tonight.

Sharksanity 3 (9 p.m., Discovery) – A review of the greatest moments from Shark Week 2016 and the top picks for the best in Shark Week’s history.

20/20: In an Instant (9 p.m., ABC) – The story of a woman who fell 60 feet off a canyon wall, shattering her pelvis, while out running with her dog.
