UNC-TV launched a new channel for kids on July 1. Formerly the Kids Channel (UNC-KD), Rootle offers 24-hour programming for children ages 3-8.
According to UNC-TV, the channel will be available statewide to more than 3.8 million homes. It’s available over-the-air (via antenna) and to Time Warner Cable customers.
Rootle will air PBS Kids programming, such as “Word Girl,” “Peg + Cat,” “Sesame Street,” “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Curious George” and more.
You can find Rootle on Time Warner Cable channel 1275 or over the air at one of the following channels: WUNC-4.2, WUNK-25.2, WUND-2.2, WUNE-17.2, WUNG-58.2, WUNL-26.2, WUNF-33.2, WUNW-27.2, WUNJ-39.2, WUNP-36.2, WUNM-19.2, WUNU-31.2.
