Carmen Nichols Loftin

Mrs. Carmen Nichols Loftin, 91 of Beaver, WV passed away September 22, 2014 in the Bowers Hospice House. 
Mrs. Loftin is a member of Beckley Presbyterian Church and completed a business degree and held many administrative positions in the energy and health care fields.


She is preceded in death by her parents James and Minnnie Nichols of Fayetteville, WV; husband Paul W. Smith and daughter Iva Mae Loftin Peters.


She is survived by her husband Larry Loftin and children Paul and Addie Smith of Raleigh, NC, James and Linda Smith of South Charleston, Alex and Susan Skirpan of Midlothian, VA, Sarah and Mike Clevenger of Winfield and Larry Loftin, Jr. of Lewisburg. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.


A tribute to the life of Mrs. Carmen Loftin will be Noon Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville with Rev. John McKinnon officiating. Burial will follow in the memorial park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
 In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Beckley Presbyterian Memorial Gift Fund, 203 S. Kanawha St. Beckley, WV 25801.
