Sue Carmack, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from cancer. A native of Italy, Sue moved to LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 1962. She moved to Raleigh in 2002 where she was employed for 5 years at Food Lion off Lead Mine Road and was a regular customer and Green Bay Packers fan at Saw Mill Tap Room. She resided at Windsor Springs over the last 5 years where she made some great friends. She will long be remembered for her humor, quick wit, cooking and compassion.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Sue Carmack and grandson, Sam of Raleigh; and sons, Eddie Carmack of Oregon and Bobby Carmack of Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Teresa Pinton; brothers, Luigi and Gianpietro Pinton; and sister, Anna Maria Bailey.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 28, 2014. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue Carmack’s honor may be sent to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
