Mr. Larry Norman Dwiggins, 65, of Durham, died Monday October 13 in his sleep at his home.
Mr. Dwiggins was a native and lifelong resident of Durham and was the son of the late William Grady Dwiggins and Laney Dwiggins. He retired from Verizon in 2006 after a 34 year career with GTE and Verizon. He was a member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In retirement, he was an active fisherman and a member of several fishing clubs in North Carolina.
Surviving are his son, Cooper Dwiggins, and wife Kristen Dwiggins, of Cary, and sister Mary Dwiggins and husband Steve McIntosh of Plano, Texas.
A Celebration of his life will be Sunday October 19 at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center at 119 Ambassador Loop Cary NC 27512 from 2PM to 4PM. There will be a brief service at 2PM followed by visitation with friends and family.
