Ethelene Baker Roach, 87, died Saturday. A native of Franklin County, she was daughter to the late Charlie & Nora Baker. She retired from Westinghouse after 30 years of service. Ethelene loved Bingo and Atlantic City. She was preceded in death by husbands A. O. Gay and Bobbie Earl Roach, brothers, Horace, Grover, Monroe, Freddie, Rudolph, and Charlie Baker, Jr., several nephews, a niece, and a great nephew.

She is survived by stepson, Randy Roach of Raleigh; numerous special nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.

Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
