Herbert Clyde "Biddie" Wall, Jr.

Herbert Clyde “Biddie” Wall, Jr., 88, of 2008 Trawick Road, Raleigh, passed away peacefully Friday, November 7, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving and caring family. He was born in Wake County on March 5, 1926 to the late Herbert Clyde Wall, Sr. and Clyde Medlin Wall. He retired with 21 years of service with IBM and served his country in WWII in the US Army. He was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.

“I have everything I want; I just don’t want much.” That was Herbert’s philosophy. If he had God, his family, enough to eat, and his home, he was truly content. He thanked God daily for his many blessings. He always put his wife and girls ahead of himself. He went without so that they could have the things they wanted and needed. He was a loving father, husband, Christian and all around good man. His girls could not have asked for more in a daddy.
