Wesley James Lifford, age 34, of Raleigh, NC passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014. “Wes” as he was affectionately known, loved making people laugh and was always the life of the party. He cherished the time he spent with his family and his fur babies. He loved God and was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. Wes had a wild side too and it showed in his love of fast cars and loud music. He was also an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan, which has been difficult lately.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
Wes is survived by his wife, Michele Mahany; son, Andrew Norcross; parents, Chantale and David L Persinger; father Richard Hill; sisters, Devonna and Alicia Hill; sister Angela Persinger; brothers, Shaun Hill and David J Persinger; and cousin, Brandi Lifford. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Liliane and Peter Lifford and Iva and Sam Hill.
