Joan Crumpler Joyner , 83, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital.
Joan was born in Wayne County on May 4, 1931 to the late Joseph E. and Mildred May Crumpler. She was married to the late Perry D. Joyner, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 U.S. Hwy. 70 West, Princeton, NC.
Joan is survived by her sons, Perry D. Joyner III (Jay) of Crystal River, FL and Douglas Edward Joyner and wife Carol of Bakersville; brother, Edward H. Crumpler of Midlothian, VA; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
