Mary Laval DuPre and Nicholas Joseph Hartigan were married Nov. 15 at St. James Santee Episcopal Church in McClellanville, S.C. The Rev. Dr. Jennie C. Olbrych officiated. A reception was held at Palmetto Plantation.
The bride is the daughter of William and Colleen DuPre of Raleigh. She is a graduate of Broughton High School and UNC-Chapel Hill, and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Georgia. She is a data strategist with the Atlanta Public Schools.
The groom is the son of John and Elizabeth Hartigan of Fairfax, Va. He is a graduate of Woodson High School, Brown University and Harvard Law School. He is an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of Georgia.
Bridesmaids were Eliza Abigail DuPre, Sydney Colleen DuPre, Lauren McCollough Bain, Katherine Prewitt Cannon, Sara Godley Dickinson, and Molly Margaret Heron.
Best man was Andrew Patrick Hartigan, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Caldwell, Michael Cooper, Scott Eskildsen, Steven Storrs, and Alexander Stratoudakis.
The couple will live in Atlanta.
