Jimmy Keith Boswell, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, December 20, 2014. Born on September 3, 1946 in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Leland Boswell and the late Voncile Batten Boswell. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lyndia Narron Boswell of the residence.
Mr. Boswell retired from Merck Pharmaceuticals in Wilson after working there for over 25 years. He was a member of Wildwood Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson where he served as a Deacon. In his spare time, Jimmy enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his loving wife, Lyndia, Jimmy is survived by his two sons, Keith Boswell and wife Susie of Pikeville, NC, Kevin Boswell of Lucama, his two brothers, Rayvon Boswell and wife Betty of Selma, Bobby Boswell and wife Julie of Raleigh, and his three sisters, Edna Mae Langston of Wilson, Faye Ballance and husband Felton of Lucama, and Lea Ann Etheridge and husband Skeeter of Lucama.
Mr. Boswell leaves two grandsons; Alex Alves and fiancé Jennifer Felts, and Aaron Alves and special friend, Pricillia Barnes.

The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Chapel in Kenly with Rev. Jonathan Ange officiating. Burial will occur in the Kenly Cemetery immediately following the Chapel Service.
The family will receive friends for a time of Visitation on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and other times at the residence, 6726 Little Rock Church Rd., Lucama, NC 27851.
Flowers are welcome but contributions, in memory of Mr. Jimmy Boswell, can be made to Wildwood Free Will Baptist Church, 4331 NC Hwy 42, Wilson, NC 27893.
