After an amazing life of 98 ½ years, Laura Frances Martin Huddleston Link died peacefully on December 17, 2014. She was born to Joseph Thomas Martin and Mary Lee Ellis in Cave City, Kentucky.
Frances lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky for over 65 years. In 2012 she moved to North Carolina to be near her daughter, Laura. In typical “Frances fashion”, she made friends instantly, started a bridge club, and was always the life of the party.
Frances is survived by her son, Lee Huddleston of Bowling Green, daughter, Laura Huddleston Snyder (Bill) of Raleigh, NC, daughter-in-law, Heidi Huddleston of Bowling Green, step-sons, Ted Link, Jonathan Link, and David Link, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank her caregivers and friends Marlene Brown (and family), Pam Sinor, and Shirley Robinson; the staff of Preston Pointe Retirement Living; the staff of Transitions LifeCare; and Dr. Surah Grumet, who cared for Frances for the last 2 ½ years.
