Traffic was backed up on Interstate 85 on Monday night after a full propane truck overturned.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m. on northbound I-85 near mile marker 57. N.C. State Troopers say the driver of the truck hit his brakes to avoid another car, lost control and went into the median, where the truck flipped.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.
Troopers say the truck’s tank was full of propane but that none leaked out.
