Evelyn Antosch, 93, passed on to a better place early Tuesday morning in the SECU Hospice House. She was the daughter of Oscar and Violet Laramie who preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Siegfried Antosch and her only brother Roland Laramie. She is survived by her 2 daughters: Judy Strickling and her husband Doug Moore of Lexington, KY, and Jeanne Huffman of Selma, NC, three grandchildren; Erica Strickling of Lexington, KY, John Strickling and his wife Allison of Lexington, KY, and Amy August of Louisville, KY, two great grandchildren; Evie August and Airis Strickling.
She lived a good long life and saw many changes in the world. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all whose hearts were touched by her life. She is in a better place and will suffer no more.
A gathering of friends celebrating the life of Evelyn Antosch will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the SECU Hospice House 426 Hospital Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577 or to Alzheimers Foundation of America in Raleigh, NC in the memory of Evelyn Antosch.
