George E. Lynch 72, of Wake Forest, NC passed on March 11, 2015.
Born in Old Tappan, NJ on October 14, 1942 to George and Madeline Lynch. He moved to River Vale, NJ in 1953. He graduated from Pascack Valley High School in 1960 where he found his love of running. He went into the Navy and worked on aircraft in Rota, Spain and continued running in track meets for the Navy. Upon his discharge in 1965 he met his future wife Carmen Demsky, they married in 1969 and started a family. He continued his love of running by entering and completing six NYC Marathons. He worked for 21 years at Eastern Airlines in NJ/NY and 17 years at Airbus Industries of North America from which he retired from in 2004. After retirement he enjoyed his grandchildren, walking and creating his one of a kind model railroad.
He is is survived by his wife Carmen of 45 years, daughters April Lynch Gauthier and husband Brian of Fair Lawn, NJ, Kerry Lynch Owens and husband James of Houston TX, Heidi (Baker) Lynch and fiance' Starsky Bomer of Humble, TX. His five grandchildren, Alyssa and Kayla Gauthier, Matthew Owens, and Madison and Gavin Baker. Also survived by brother Charles Lynch and his wife Ursula of Bellevue CO and their children, his six nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and his sister Madeline Lynch Germain.
