Arlene Roll McWilliams, 79, of 269B Strickland-Hinton Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2015 at Rex Healthcare. Arlene was born June 26, 1935 in Shortsville, New York to the late Edwin Roll and Louise Wolfe Roll. She retired in Alleghany County, New York as a Special Education Teacher. After retirement she and husband came to Johnston County to live and be near their daughters and their families. As long as her health permitted she was a faithful and active member of Faith Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Mick Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at the McWilliams-Descoteaux Family Cemetery, 269 Strickland-Hinton Road, Zebulon.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years: Harold Wilford McWilliams; son, Harold Edwin McWilliams of New York State; daughters: Susan Ann M. Evans (Clark) of Raleigh and Deborah Ann M. Descoteaux (Marc) of Zebulon; grandchildren: Hal, Rebecca, Erik, Clark, Brian, Michael, Marc, and Elise; brother, Donald Roll of Galway, NY; sister, Sharon R. Slagle of Syracuse, NY.
In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, April 20, 2015 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and others times at 269 Strickland-Hinton Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
Arlene requested that memorial contributions be made to the Durham Rescue Mission.
