Dennis Rosen, a pediatric pulmonologist and sleep specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital, believes poor communication between doctors and patients is one of the biggest problems in our nation’s health care system.
His new book, “Vital Conversations: Improving Communications Between Doctors and Patients” (Columbia University Press), illustrates some of the issues from the perspectives of doctors and patients and offers advice on building the skills for better communication.
We have a copy of Rosen’s book to give away. Email email@example.com by midnight Tuesday (Oct. 21) and you’ll be entered in a random drawing. Please include your mailing address.
