Dog With 'Brain Disorder' Excitedly Goes To Meet His Best Friend, a Sea Lion
Some people just get you. It's the most special feeling in the world when someone has a handle on all your unique attributes. For this adorable pup, that "person" is a sea lion. The on-screen text perfectly captures the vibe of this video: "Just a dog with a brain disorder, looking for his best friend who happens to be a sea lion with an anxiety disorder."
Because of how his brain works, Fenix, the white Husky, prances as he walks. In this case, it perfectly reflects his feelings, as he's absolutely thrilled to go to the water looking for his BFF. We get to witness the buddy sniff around for Wilbur, the sea lion. The text tells us he didn't find him that day. But don't worry, you get a glimpse of the two at the end of the clip.
@fenixlumiere An epic love story part one. Posting Fenix talking to Wilbur tomorrow.
In the Summertime - Mungo Jerry
Fenix took TikTok by storm with millions of views and likes. Commenters praised the beautiful friendship, like @cat.mama61, who noted, "This should be a children's book, so wonderful." @GweenBean (Taylor's Version) took that up a notch with, "Awww, the water dog loves the land dog. Call Disney." We absolutely NEED this movie.
Others commented on the adorableness of Fenix, "That bounce is the most joyful thing I've seen all day," @purplewombat49 stated. @_anxti got into his head: "As far as this dog knows, that is a magic lake that spawns friends." Hopefully, he finds his friend every time he returns to it.

What Causes Dogs To Walk or Move Differently?
Fenix has cerebellar hypoplasia, according to other videos on his account. That causes his unusual gait, but it doesn't stop him from living his best life. Luckily, he doesn't suffer any pain and will live just as long as any other Husky.
Dogs move differently for all sorts of other reasons. Some have injuries or missing limbs. Others have hip dysplasia. Diseases like Lyme or cancer can cause difficulty walking as well. Seizures can lead to unusual movement even after the event.
A sudden limp should trigger an alarm bell in your head. First, examine the area. My little Chihuahua started limping one day, and it turned out he had an acorn stuck in his little paw. So, it could be nothing! But if the culprit's not obvious, you should go to the vet.
The good news is that, in many instances, dogs don't care if they have a distinctive walk. When the source is an injury, you may need to help them rest and recover or find a new way to move around. Otherwise, hopefully your pup goes on to live just as happily as Fenix.
