Planning season for summer weddings is in full tilt, and that means a bevy of bridal events over the next few weeks. This week, the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill hosts its annual Bridal Showcase on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Brides can peruse gowns and formalwear from local boutiques and designers, such as Alexia’s Bridal Boutique, Lana Addison Bridal Salon, Natty Neckware and Dina Porter boutique, meet with makeup and hair stylists, taste cake and see floral arrangements. More than 70 area wedding vendors will participate, and the band Groovetown will provide music during the show.
Tickets are $15 in advance online. Admission is free for those having their wedding at the Inn, and those brides also will receive early access to the show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 919-918-2715 or visit carolinainnbride.com.
