Ken Lewis, 40, a Durham husband and dad who works at Marshall's, is often a T-shirt-and-sweatpants guy in his off-hours. But he wants "something for the weekend that looks good" and is easy to wear. We showed him how to wear the heck out of a suit.

A Kenneth Cole two-button wool suit is enlivened with an XMI woven button down, Krimson by Kwame paisley-metallic tie, Ferragamo buckled loafers and complementary pocket square. This can be church, formal party, wedding, funeral or awards-ceremony gear.
The suit jacket kicks casual pieces up a few notches. The patterned M-76 buttondown peeks out of a half-zip wool sweater, and Seven for all Mankind bootcut jeans and luscious suede Cole Haan loafers give that looking-good-without-trying vibe. A coat would take this outfit into deepest winter, and peeling off layers can make it work through spring.
The lavender shirt plays nicely with a navy Polo by Ralph Lauren sweater vest. Those pieces, worn with Cole Haan penny loafers, give the suit an elegant casual look suitable for a casual get-together, church service or dinner out.
