If you were a teen girl in the 1980s or 1990s, chances are your fashion world revolved around one iconic mall staple – The Limited.

And as the era of malls began to wane, one of its most recognizable retailers felt the pinch of changing retail times. The Limited filed for bankruptcy and closed all its stores last year.

But the brand has new life, thanks to a new distribution agreement with Charlotte-based department store, Belk. Belk has announced that The Limited brand has relaunched at the store, both in-store and online. The brand will be managed as one of the retailer’s private labels, and the relaunch includes plus sizes – something not previously carried by The Limited in its former incarnation. Petite and tall sizes will also be offered.

Currently, The Limited branded clothing is available in 150 Belk stores, and 74 additional outlets will be added next year. To see the collection, visit belk.com.
