Style Watch: Dress for Success sale at Northgate in Durham

Triangle shoppers can score deals on cold weather attire during the Dress for Success Triangle Designer Sale and Excess Inventory Sale at Northgate Mall in Durham.

The Designer Sale, which is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, includes high-end coats, gloves and accessories at 70 to 90 percent off retail prices. The Excess Inventory Sale, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, includes gently used suits, coats, boots, handbags and more for as little as $5. Raleigh stylist Mary Michele Nidiffer will show women how to jazz up their little black dress for the holiday season during her latest Secrets of Style Live workshop, 6-8 p.m. Thursday at StyleFinder Boutique. Revolver designer consignment boutique celebrates a decade in business with a party at its Glenwood South store on Saturday.
