Durham custom fabric producer Spoonflower recently announced the winner of its latest design challenge. Toronto resident Judit Gueth earned top honors for her “Japanese Garden Pink” design, which was chosen from a field of more than 700 entries from the U.S. and Canada.
The competition was held in collaboration with Sprout Patterns, a service that offers sewing patterns that can be combined with Spoonflower designs to create customized cut-and-sew projects.
In addition to winning credits from both companies, Gueth also will have her design used in the launch of Named Clothing’s Asaka Kimono pattern, the first in their lineup available through Sprout Patterns.
