Raleigh athletic wear boutique Lisana Activewear recently expanded beyond its brick-and-mortar borders with a new online store.
Store owner Milena Walston said the e-commerce site – lisanaactivewear.com – will allow the shop to expand its reach beyond the Triangle.
“With e-commerce, we can offer access to the most fashion-forward, sought-after active and athleisure apparel in the Triangle and across the country,” she says. “Our vision is to provide style to gyms and fitness studios.”
Lisana carries designer activewear brands such as Blue Life Fit, Heroine Sport, Koral Activewear, Vimmia Activewear and Terez, among others.
The company’s physical store is in Lafayette Village in north Raleigh.
Tax-free weekend may be a thing of the past in North Carolina, but Carolina Premium Outlets in Smithfield aims to make up for it with its Better Than Tax-Free Weekend, Aug 5-7.
During the event, stores will offer discounts and shoppers can enter to win gift cards and a $5,000 shopping spree by posting their most memorable back-to-school photos with the hashtag #tbtbts. In addition, there will be a back-to-school fashion show featuring models from the Boys and Girls Club of Selma on Aug. 6 at 11 a.m.
Shoppers also are encouraged to donate items for the center’s backpack drive benefiting Mom and Pop Green Org, a group that collects supplies for people in need. For more info, call 919-989-8757.
