Spicy shrimp tops bruschetta

Recently I had lunch with my daughter at Cindy's House Café in Cary. We had the spicy seared shrimp bruschetta and thought it was wonderful. Last week I was there again with a friend who ordered the same item, and she also found it truly outstanding. We would all love to see the recipe in The N&O. -- NEJ, Raleigh

Gayla Bonke, who bought Cindy's House Café (140 E. Chatham St.; 380-1193; last year from original owners Cindy and Andy Anderson, is happy to oblige.

Bonke has since been gradually putting her own imprint on the menu and now announces that she's changing the name of the restaurant to Chatham Street Café & Catering effective Saturday.
