Coulis pairs well with crab cakes

My roommate and I went out last night for appetizers and drinks at 1705 Prime, and we had the most delicious crab cakes we've ever tasted (and I'm from Maryland). I'm dying to know how they do it. I would be forever grateful if you could get the recipe. -- S.M., Raleigh

Todd Ohle, executive chef at 1705 Prime (1705 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh; 850-2340; www.1705prime.com), is happy to oblige. Ohle also shares the recipe for the Yellow Pepper Coulis which he pairs with Crab Cakes that are every bit as sumptuous as the restaurant's dry-aged Prime steaks.
