Owners Diana and Oliver Yu are targeting Feb. 15 for the opening of Goji Bistro in Cary’s Maynard Crossing Shopping Center. The Yus have given Neo-Asia, the restaurant they previously operated in the building, a complete overhaul with a sleek contemporary look to reflect the new concept.

The menu is still being tweaked, according to Diana Yu, but will expand on Neo-Asia’s twin bill slate of Chinese and Japanese fare to encompass a broader sweep of Asian cuisines. Yu also hints that the offering won’t be limited to traditional dishes, either, but will venture into fusion territory. The restaurant will have a full bar.

Fans of Neo-Asia’s popular weekend dim sum will have to set their GPS for a different address. Dim sum won’t be offered at Goji Bistro, but it will now be served at the Neo-Asia on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh (the original location, which otherwise remains unchanged), Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Goji Bistro (100 Maynard Crossings Ct.; 919-466-8888; is tentatively planned to be open for lunch and dinner daily, though Saturday lunch is still up in the air.
