On tour to promote his latest cookbook, New Orleans chef John Besh is teaching a Nov. 18 cooking class at Sur la Table at Durham’s The Streets at Southpoint mall.
In the class from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Besh will show how to make country pate, shrimp, wild mushroom and pumpkin risotto, mache salad with pumpkin oil vinaigrette and pear clafoutis. His new cookbook is “Cooking from the Heart: My Favorite Lessons Learned Along the Way.”
