There are two very popular food events the weekend of April 26 and 27 that are perfect for families:
• Starting at 8:30 a.m. April 26, the Carrboro Farmers’ Market will be giving away farmer-grown tomato seedlings to children at the market. The children get to pick their seedling, plant it in a cup to take home and decorate a label for their seedling. Last year, more than 400 children participated in the event.
