If you like pies at your Thanksgiving feast, you don’t want to miss the second annual Share the Pie fundraiser.

Orders can be placed online starting Oct. 14 for pies to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving. Each pie costs $26 and is available in chocolate, pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato. Buyers choose their flavor but won’t know who baked their pies until they open the box.

More than 1,000 pies are being donated by bakers, restaurants and catering companies, such as Angus Barn, 18 Seaboard, 42nd Street Oyster Bar, Hayes Barton Café, Golden Corral and Carroll’s Kitchen.

Pies will be available to be picked up 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 23 at Citrix headquarters in downtown Raleigh, Glenwood Agency in Glenwood South, Blondell Properties at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary and White Dahlia in North Raleigh.

The event will benefit the Alliance Medical Ministry and StepUp Ministry.

The nonprofits are also seeking volunteers to help with the labeling and delivering pie boxes on Nov. 19, picking up pies on Nov. 21 and delivering pies on Nov. 22 and handing out pies on Nov. 23. To sign up, go to stepupministry.org/sharethepie-volunteer
