Marilyn Markel, the longtime former cooking school manager at Southern Season, is returning to the Triangle for upcoming book events and classes.
Markel has co-authored a new book, “Southern Breads: Recipes, Stories and Traditions,” with writer Chris Holaday. Markel left the Southern Season’s flagship store in Chapel Hill to run the cooking school at the company’s Charleston location, which was closed earlier this year.
Here are the book events and one cooking class:
