Triangle Family Services is hosting its 14th annual Gingerbread Benefit from 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

There are three options to attend the event at The Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham:

▪ You can pay $25 to see the dozens of gingerbread houses made by chefs throughout the Triangle from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.. Enjoy treats and festive holiday music and vote for your favorite gingerbread house.

▪ Enjoy tea with Santa from 4-5:30 p.m. Children will be able to decorate and take home their own gingerbread houses while listening to Santa tell stories. The Carolina RailHawks soccer team also will be on hand and specialty drinks and treats will be served. Tickets cost $55 per person or $195 for a family of four.

▪ Adults can buy tickets to the evening event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Attendees enjoy food, beer, wine and live music. Silent and live auction items include vacation homes, artwork, sports event tickets and more from Triangle-area businesses. Tickets cost $125 per guest.

The Raleigh-based nonprofit provides services to the community’s most vulnerable families. Last year alone, the group served more than 13,000 Triangle area residents, with 87 percent living below the poverty level.
