Durham’s Piedmont restaurant is offering a seven-course winter seafood menu on Feb. 8 with guest chef Justin Burdett of Asheville’s Local Provisions restaurant.
Piedmont’s executive chef John May will cook alongside Burdett whose Local Provisions was named one of 21 Best New Restaurants in America by Eater.
Dinner, which costs $65 per person, starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Foster Street restaurant. It costs $90 with wine pairings. A percentage of every ticket purchased will fund North Carolina Catch, a partnership of the local catch groups to promote the state’s commercial fishing and seafood industry.
