Rx Wine Lab, the brainchild of master sommelier Fred Dexheimer, will be hosting a series of events this summer in Raleigh’s Glenwood South.
First up is a “Pink Wines and Whole Hogs” event on July 16. It will offer a sneak preview of the food that will be served at Picnic, a Durham restaurant opening this fall by chef Ben Adams and whole hog barbecue pitmaster Wyatt Dickson. Dexheimer will choose rose wine to pair with the food.
Seatings will be from 6-7:30 p.m. and 8-9:30 p.m. Tickets cost $65. To buy tickets, go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/whole-hog-pop-nic-celebration-of-pigs-pinks-tickets-17138256988.
The event will be 610 Glenwood Ave. (former View Bar space), Raleigh.
