Chanticleer Cafe and Bakery opens in Cary

Chanticleer Cafe and Bakery is now open in Cary at the corner of Tryon and Cary Parkway.

The bakery is owned by chef Craig Freeman, a longtime Raleigh caterer and owner of Edible Accolades.

Chanticleer is open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Manager Sean Monson said the bakery and cafe serves fresh bakery items, sandwiches and Joe Van Gogh coffee.

Monson said they hope to expand their hours to 9 p.m. in about a month and serve beer and wine.
