Chapel Hill chef Bill Smith of Crook’s Corner has a new cookbook, “Crab & Oysters.”
Smith’s book is one of the latest in the Savor the South cookbook series from UNC Press.
A book release party will be 4-7 p.m. Sept. 7 at Alley Twenty Six in Durham.
Tickets cost $75 and will include a copy of the cookbook, Alley Twenty Six cocktails and samples from the cookbook prepared by chefs Billy Cotter of Dashi and Toast, Matt Kelly of Mateo Tapas and Vin Rouge, Phoebe Lawless of Scratch Bakery, Ricky Moore of Saltbox Seafood Joint, Andrea Reusing of The Durham Hotel and Lantern and Amy Tornquist of Watts Grocery.
