Savor the South authors to host joint reading at Quail Ridge

Three Triangle cookbook authors have books out this fall in the University of North Carolina’s Savor the South series.

Raleigh author Bridget Lacy wrote “Sunday Dinner,” while Cary cookbook author Sandra Gutierrez and Chapel Hill chef Bill Smith of Crook’s Corner restaurant wrote “Beans & Field Peas” and “Crabs & Oysters,” respectively.

All three have a joint reading with samples at 7 p.m. Monday at Quail Ridge Books & Music in Raleigh.

Other upcoming events include:

▪ Gutierrez will sign books at noon Sept. 30 at Southern Season's store at Cameron Village in Raleigh and at noon Oct. 3 at Southern Season in Chapel Hill.

▪ Lacy will be signing books at noon Oct. 3 at Southern Season's store at Cameron Village in Raleigh.

▪ All three authors will speak at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Regulator Bookshop in Durham.
