Cary’s Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church is hosting its annual European Christmas Market from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 5.
The market is inspired by the Christmas market traditions of Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland and Scandinavia. Christmas trees, pierogies (Polish ravioli), kielbasa and baked goods will be available for purchase. The baked goods include cookies, stollen, nut rolls, Swedish Christmas bread, Irish Christmas cake and more.
The church also will be serving a hot Slavic lunch from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 5 with a performance by The Little German Band. The menu includes kielbasa, cabbage rolls, cabbage and noodles, pierogi and desserts.
The church is at 2515 Piney Plains Road, Cary.
