Night owls may want to mark their calendars for Jan. 30, when Raleigh’s Standard Foods will host a late-night pop-up menu.
Head bartender Taylor Holmes will host guest bartenders on the last Saturday of every month from midnight to 2 a.m. The bartenders will collaborate on a one-night-only cocktail menu while chef de cuisine Bret Edlund and head butcher Steve Goff will offer a menu inspired by the cocktails.
On Jan. 30, Garrett Waddell from nearby Stanbury restaurant will be the guest bartender. According to the press release, the cocktails will “diner-style” and snacks will include fried boudin, chicken fried chicken and rabbit chili cheese fries.
