The former Zinda location will become Bare Bones, a new ribs, burger and beer restaurant on Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street.
Raleigh restaurant group, Eschelon Experiences, plans to open Bare Bones by summer. The new restaurant also will offer classic games, such as billiards and shuffleboard.
“Zinda worked well as an event space, but our vision for the space was one that would be vibrant and open for the community to enjoy as part of the lively downtown Raleigh experience,” said Gaurav “G” Patel, founder and president of Eschelon Experiences, in a press release.
Bare Bones chef will be Taion McElveen, who previously worked at Cameron Bar & Grill and The Oxford. His menu will feature smoked pork, beef ribs, brisket and house-ground burgers. The bar will also feature 24 beers on tap.
