Cary’s La Farm Bakery is hosting its fourth annual Bread Bakers Guild of America Open House on June 25.
From 3-4 p.m., the bakery will offer behind-the-scene tours, followed by a bread shaping demo and an opportunity to see the bakers scoring and loading breads in and out of their hearth oven. A large variety of samples will be offered and guests will take home a white chocolate mini maguette. This event is free.
The guild came up with the idea of these open houses to bring communities to their bakeries, as well as champion locally made bread.
