Put this on your calendars: the fifth annual Homebrew for Hunger festival will be Sept. 4.
The Carrboro event will feature samples of 100 beers from local homebrewers and craft breweries, including Steel String Brewery, Regulator Brewing Co. and Starpoint Brewing. There will also be kombucha, mead and cider for those wanting gluten-free options.
The event will be from 1-5 p.m. outside Fifth Season Gardening Co., 106 . Greensboro St. Carrboro.
