Lt. Col. Richard "Dick" Eastwood Page, Jr.

Lt. Col. Richard “Dick” Eastwood Page, Jr. of Aberdeen passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 at the age of 91. Dick was born on August 5th, 1923, in Montgomery County in the town of Biscoe, NC, to Richard Eastwood Page and Nell Sue Hurley Page. For his whole life Dick Page brought joy to everyone who knew him. He was a true gentleman with a smile that could melt anyone’s heart.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of forty five years, Leila Kimbrell Page, and his dear sisters, Rebekah “Becky” Shaw Page and Mildred “Millie” Eastwood Page Long. He is survived by his favorite brother, William “Bill” Francis Hurley Page (Judith) of Forestdale, MA; his children, Cary Kimbrell “Kim” Page Auman (Ed), Lynn Allison Page Anderson (Robert); Richard Eastwood Page, III (Sharon); his grandchildren, Lindsay Page Auman Brown (Scot), Nancy Allison Auman, Zachary Page Anderson, Adrienne May Anderson, Ryan McKendrick Page, Aaron Christopher Page, Sean Michael Page; three great-grandchildren; Ava Grace Brown, Leila Ann Brown and William Michael Brown and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. And his good friend and cousin, Robert Newton Page III of Aberdeen.

Friends can visit at the family home, 240 Allison Page Road, Aberdeen on Wednesday May 20th from 5 – 7 PM. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday May 21st at Page Memorial United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dick's life. In lieu of flowers, please remember him with memorials to Page Memorial United Methodist Church at 115 West Main Street, Aberdeen, NC 28315.
