William “Brad” Bradley Rudolph passed away suddenly and peacefully on June 10, 2015 from complications of a brain aneurysm that he suffered on the morning of June 9. He was born September 15, 1964, in Indianapolis, IN, son of William and Phyllis (Roberts) Rudolph. Brad graduated from Wake Forest University earning degrees in Religion and History in 1987. A life-long entrepreneur, Brad started Raleigh-based Custom Mail Solutions in 1997. He was also an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he was a driving force connecting the church and the community. His passion for baseball, hockey, horse racing, history and trivia are legendary amongst those who knew him.
More important than what Brad did with his life is what he meant to others - and how he brought people together. His sense of humor, his generosity and his love of friendship in general made him an angel on earth. All those he touched will forever be blessed by the left hand of God.
Brad defined what it meant to be ‘the favorite uncle’ and represented everything that is great about His Generation. He gave so much of himself to everyone in his life; and in death will be doing the same to strangers that will be given new life. He was beyond generous with his time, would give you the last nickel in his pocket, and was always the first one you call when you just ’needed something'. He had a heart of gold and Let His Love Open all the Doors, every day of his life. He lived life with the everlasting joy of a teenager but with the curious mind of The Seeker. He was the greatest clown prince that made everyone Join Together, every time he was around.
Brad is survived by his loving wife Kari Linzel Rudolph who was Brad’s best friend, business partner and house-mother to the remarkable circle of friends that Brad cultivated in his fifty years. Meeting Kari was the luckiest day of his life and when it came time to choose a wedding date, they naturally chose the luckiest day of the century, 07-07-07.
