Jeffrey Walter Mandler, 50, of Raleigh, NC, died on Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born on February 16, 1965 in Teaneck, NJ to Elaine M. Mandler and the late John F. Mandler, Jr.
Jeff came to North Carolina almost 17 years ago from his home state of New Jersey. He’s a member of the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh, NC, a longtime employee of IBM, an avid sports fan, and found great joy in both the composing of music and the performing of it.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Mayra Maqueo-Mandler of Raleigh; sons, Jeffrey Joseph “JJ” Mandler of Raleigh, and Nicholas John Mandler of Raleigh; mother, Elaine M. Mandler of Paramus, NJ; brothers, John Jude Mandler of West Orange, NJ, and James Francis Mandler of Metuchen, NJ. He is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Jeff is predeceased by his father, John F. Mandler, Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC. The church will host a reception immediately following.

A Memorial Mass will also be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church, 234 N Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Stephen Ministry at St. Francis, 11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613, a Pastoral Ministry for any individual facing who faces challenging and difficult times.
