Three Wake County apartment complexes sold

Three more Wake County apartment complexes have changed hands over the past week.

Macquarie has acquired the Sterling TownCenter Apartments in North Raleigh for $38 million, according to Wake County property records. The 339-unit complex was developed by Grubb Properties and opened in 2012.

In another deal, Tribridge Residential, an Atlanta firm, has acquired the 319-unit Harrison Grande apartments in Cary for $38.725 million, according to property records. The seller was DRA Advisors of New York.

Last week, the Lenoxplace at Garner Station apartments in Raleigh sold for $24.25 million. The buyer was Independence Realty Trust. The 266-unit property is 96 percent leased, according to IRT.

The seller in the transaction was The Sterling Group, which renovated the property after acquiring it for $14.935 million in 2011.
