The Gardens at Wakefield Plantation, a senior living community in North Raleigh, has been acquired for $40.7 million, according to Wake County property records.
The community was part of a portfolio of 21 assisted living facilities that publicly traded Sabra Health Care REIT acquired from affiliates of Holiday Acquisition Holdings Corp. for $550 million.
The deal is a sale/leaseback agreement under which an affiliate of Holiday will continue to operate the facilities.
The portfolio includes 2,850 units in 15 states. The Gardens at Wakefield has 121 units.
