The North Raleigh office building that is the headquarters for Salix Pharmaceuticals has sold for $27.45 million, according to Wake County property records.
The 127,000-square-foot Colonnade II building was acquired by Allegiancy, a Virginia-based real estate asset manager, according to corporate records on file with the N.C. Secretary of State’s office.
Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors of Hartford, Conn. partnered with Spectrum Properties to build Colonnade II, which is off Six Forks Road near Interstate 540.
Salix moved its headquarters from Perimeter Park in Morrisville to Colonnade II in 2011. The company also occupies some space in the adjacent Colonnade office building.
